I love exploring different cafes overseas as each cafe gives me different vibes, experience and specialty. My recent cafe experience was in Malaysia, Johor Bahru and I have nothing but praises for Champs X Ruey Cafe. The cafe is housed in a traditional black and white old English bungalow and it has one of the best Mille crepe cakes. The cake layers are soft and the cream was not overly rich, sweetness was just right. We had their rocher chocolate crepe cake and it was heavenly. Their coffee was fantastic and had a good range of drinks. Do try their dark chocolatey mocha, as well as their matcha latte. The cafe has some artistic aspects as you see art paintings hanging on the wall and there's a small retail space selling local art works, hand printed batik clothes, and products. Service was also excellent at the cafe. Champs X Ruey is a cafe definitely worth visiting!
