New Zealand's underrated seaside town, more worth visiting than Queenstown

The horizon might just be referring to Kaikoura in front of us! The blue visible to the naked eye doesn't need any filters at all, making you want to dive right in. This island is like a mountain peak placed in the water by God, providing natural companionship to the vast ocean. The people of New Zealand have always cherished this natural blessing and protected the surrounding creatures. We set off from Christchurch early in the morning and drove for two and a half hours. After parking the car, we hurried to the service center to buy whale-watching tickets. At 11 o'clock, there happened to be two vacancies, so we successfully boarded the yacht to go whale watching. The blue in front of us always has a certain magic, which is the feeling of love. Staying by the reef, you can also see seals and seagulls, lively and cute. Racing in the sea, a group of playful dolphins chased our boat! Everyone excitedly stood on the deck, watching the dolphins freely chase and play. We sat in the yacht for about three hours, but unfortunately, we didn't see any whales in the end. Originally, whale watching was $150 per person, but since we didn't see any whales, we got a refund of $120 per person when we returned to the station. Compared to domestic tourism, this is quite humane. Compared to the bustling Queenstown, Kaikoura in New Zealand, with its blue sea and sky, is a paradise far from the mundane world, perfect for wasting time and slowly enjoying the rare tranquility of travel. We strolled along the shore and successfully checked off 'dolphin watching' in Kaikoura.
