The heat and coolness of Lotus Pond

In Kaohsiung at the end of June, the sun was so hot that it was hard to open one's eyes, and the surface of the Lotus Pond was shining brightly under the scorching sun. Even though sweat was pouring down, it couldn't stop my enthusiasm for exploring this ancient pond. In the daytime, the Dragon and Tiger Towers stand majestically, reflected in the sparkling water, as if guarding this historic land. I was tired from walking, so I bought a cup of iced coffee at the 7-11 by the lake. The cool sweetness instantly dispelled the heat and made the whole world feel refreshed.
