Kariya Highway Oasis in Aichi Prefecture once ranked third in the nation in terms of visitor numbers to amusement parks and other theme parks, beating out famous amusement parks and theme parks like Disneyland & Sea and Universal Studios Japan. This is a rest area on the highway, but it also has an amusement park, restaurants, souvenir shops, a park, and hot springs.
