Phuket One-Day Tour | Similan Island

#Phuket Attractions Similan means "9" in Malay, representing the Similan Islands which are composed of nine granite islands. It is a marine national park. Two islands were added in 2014, and now the national park has expanded to 11 islands. Similan National Park is located in Phang Nga Province, 70 kilometers offshore on the Andaman Sea. It is only open from October to May of the following year, and there are limited places available. The scenery on the island is first-class, the sea water is crystal clear, and the white sand is soft. It is on a completely different level compared to the outer islands near Phuket such as Phi Phi Island and Emperor Island. However, the driving and boat journeys from Phuket are quite long. Usually we set out at 5 or 6 in the morning, and it takes two hours by car to get to the pier, plus another 1.5 hours by boat. We will arrive at the island at 11 in the morning. We only have about 3 to 4 hours to play, and we will return to the hotel at around 8 in the evening.
