Serendipity Beach Resort Koh Lipe – A Love-Hate Relationship

Definitely rent the hotel’s free kayak — paddling over to the nearby small island for snorkeling lets you see plenty of colorful fish. The resort is built on a cliff, so if your room is higher up, be prepared for some tiring climbs up and down. The hotel is very rustic — all the villas are made of wood, and the floors creak “creak creak” as you walk on them. The room facilities are quite old-fashioned, and mosquitoes are really abundant.
