The wetland is rich with seasonal colors during spring — water plants begin to bloom, and tall metasequoia (dawn redwood) trees reflect on the calm water like a living mirror. Wooden boardwalks wind through reed beds and along shallow ponds, making it easy to explore without disturbing the habitat. The serenity of the place, combined with the fresh spring breeze and scenic reflections, made it a relaxing contrast to the busier parts of the city. Travel Tips: • Best time to visit: Morning or late afternoon in spring (March–May) when the weather is pleasant and bird activity is high. • Bring binoculars or a zoom lens: Great spot for birdwatching and landscape photography. • Family-friendly: Wide open spaces, wooden trails, and even small boats available for rent. • Pack light snacks and water: There are few food stalls nearby. • Ideal for a slow walk: Allocate 1.5 to 2 hours for a full loop. • Wear walking shoes: Paths are mostly flat but can get muddy near the shore. • Free entrance: No ticket required, and it’s open year-round.
