A walk on the promenada 🇪🇸

#summerdestinations Taking a stroll along the La Coruña promenade was one of the highlights of my trip 🌊. This coastal walkway stretches for miles along the Atlantic, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and the city’s famous landmarks. The best part? It’s completely free! You can start your walk from the iconic Tower of Hercules, the oldest working lighthouse in the world, and just keep going, soaking up the fresh sea air and stunning scenery. The promenade is wide and well-maintained, making it perfect for walking, jogging, or even biking 🚴♂️. There are plenty of benches along the way, where you can sit and relax, listening to the waves crash against the rocks. One of my favorite spots was by the Aquarium Finisterrae, where I could see the playful sea lions basking in the sun 🦭. The views of the bay, with the Torre de Hércules standing tall in the distance, were simply mesmerizing. Along the promenade, there are several sculptures and art installations, adding a cultural touch to your walk. You’ll also find some charming cafes and seafood restaurants where you can stop for a coffee or indulge in some fresh seafood paella 🦐. I ended my walk at Orzán Beach, where I kicked off my shoes and dipped my toes in the cool Atlantic waters. The beach was lively, with locals enjoying a sunny day and surfers catching waves. This walk is a perfect way to experience the beauty of La Coruña and its coastal charm.
