Lazi Convent: A Piece of Siquijor’s History

#springitinerary we visited the beautiful Lazi Convent, one of the oldest and biggest convents in the Philippines. It’s right across from the San Isidro Labrador Church, and the area feels calm and full of history. The convent is made of coral stones and hardwood and even though it’s old, it still looks strong and peaceful. Walking around, you can really feel the quiet charm of the place. Inside, there’s a small museum that shows religious items and old things from the Spanish era. #jammerstheexplorer #philippines #siquijor
