Shogoin Temple

Shogoin Temple is famous for its blessings of victory. Throughout history, famous generals would go there to pray for victory in battle. Many years later, it attracted many believers who sought victory in various occasions such as exams and employment. Walking inside the temple, you will find Daruma dolls of all sizes everywhere - on trees, on the floor, and in between the stones. It is very interesting and cute. Everyone can choose a Daruma doll for themselves, write down their wishes, and place it in their favorite spot in the garden or even take it home. Getting to Shogoin Temple is not difficult. You can choose to take a train and a bus. It takes about one hour and fifteen minutes from Namba Station, but remember to check the bus schedule in advance. Don't miss the bus because there is only one bus every hour. The round trip has only three to four buses, and sometimes they may leave a few minutes early.
