Putuo Mountain, Zhoushan, China

Mountain, Beach and Temple - what a place. A highly recommended place for 3/4 days tour. I took bus from Suzhou and got off at the Putuo bus station. Then took another tourist bus (red double decker) to the ferri station. Had a 15mins vessel (small ship) ride and finally arrived at the Putuo mountain. That was just at the wharf. Then took another tourist bus to Zizhulin Bamboo Forest where the Guanyin Pusa statue is located. Later walked to another place called `Unwilling to go` (please check online to know the interesting story behind this name). Next day, I visited all major three temples of Putuo - Puji, Huiji and Fayu temple. If you want to visit to Huiji temple, think twice. You have to take stiff stairs of about 2 km. It`s really a hard job than it sounds. Trust me! At the end of the day, I went to the beach and rest for a while. One thing, here hotels and foods are expensive. And in Putuo other than bus, there is no other option for journey. Either you walk or take bus.
