Erawan Cave Temple, Nong Bua Lamphu

#Entering the temple to make merit #Erawan Cave Temple is a cave temple on a hill with a gilded Buddha image and a group of rocks. It can be reached by a long, steep staircase. It is a large limestone cave. Inside, it is divided into different rooms, each filled with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. It is convenient to walk around because there are lights installed along the way. Locals often call it the Elephant Cave because when viewed from a distance, it looks like a crouching elephant. At the mouth of the cave is a large Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture called Phra Phuttha Chai Si Maha Muni Tri Rochanat. Every year during the Songkran Festival, there is a tradition of climbing the mountain to worship the Erawan Cave Buddha, which is an old tradition of Ban Pha In Plaeng that has been passed down for a long time.
