Who would have thought that the transition from spring to summer in Nanjing's Qixia Mountain could be as picturesque as an oil painting? There is an old saying in Jinling, 'Spring belongs to Niushou Mountain, autumn to Qixia.' Although Qixia is extremely charming with its red autumn leaves, visiting during the spring-summer transition reveals an unexpectedly overwhelming beauty. Visiting Qixia Mountain off-season means fewer people and a rare tranquility! The unique fresh and lush greenery of summer is also fully embodied in Qixia Mountain. Following the direction of the wind chimes and heading north, I discovered that this year's Qixia Mountain has been decorated with an Impressionist Monet garden! The red leaves and ancient mountain gates are bathed in bright sunshine, with the sound of babbling streams in my ears, as if stepping into a painting. Moreover, Qixia Mountain has a profound historical and cultural background. The Qixia Temple was built during the Southern Qi dynasty, and Buddhist activities have always been very active here. There are also historical relics and cultural artifacts such as the Thousand Buddha Cliff and the Ming Zhengjun Stele on the mountain! The Thousand Buddha Rock, the Relic Pagoda, and the Three Saints Hall area of the ancient Qixia Temple, as well as the mountain trails, are what I particularly admire. A glimpse into the history of the Southern Dynasties is vividly expressed in the pouring halo of light. Just as I was strolling, I encountered visiting monks. They were moving through the valleys, conversing with the ancient Buddha's thoughts from a thousand years ago. At this moment, time seemed to have some interesting overlaps.
