Didn't want to leave after checking in - Magnotel Nanjing Jiangning!

Last week when I came to Jiangning, Nanjing for business, I stumbled upon this Magnotel Hotel Hushu branch by chance. From the moment I parked my car, I was thoroughly impressed! The hotel sign was visible right after turning at the highway exit, the parking lot was spacious, and the front desk staff scanned my code for free parking checkout - so driver-friendly! Opening the room door, my first impression was brightness. The light-colored decor looked spotless, with housekeeping having tidied every corner meticulously - even the toilet seat had disposable covers (detail-oriented perfection!). Complimentary bottled water and tea bags on the desk instantly soothed my travel fatigue with a hot cuppa. The biggest surprise was the separate wet/dry bathroom - no morning fights over the sink with travel mates! The shower's strong water pressure washed away all exhaustion. Dining options were eye-opening: The Jinbao Commercial Plaza right across had everything. Nighttime food stalls downstairs emitted irresistible aromas - hotpot, stir-fries, skewers galore, plus nearby Mixue Ice Cream & Luckin Coffee for late-night fried chicken with iced drinks. Next morning revealed a buffet breakfast with steaming local-style buns and mantou. Perfect location for outings too: Just 10-minute drive to Yangliu Lake Scenic Area's Jiangnan-style ancient houses with black-tiled roofs, or detour to East Outlets for stress-relieving brand shopping with big discounts. Discovered coin laundry with dryers before leaving - a lifesaver for week-long business trips (no more hauling dirty clothes home!). But most memorable were the front desk staff's smiles - proactively recommending local eats during check-in, even hand-drawing us a route map to China Pharmaceutical University (actually just a 13-minute/¥15 taxi ride). This thoughtfulness makes me want to return! Next Hushu visit? Definitely choosing this warm little haven nestled in local vibes again.
