Springtime is the best time of year to go hiking in Malta, after the winter rains the island is a lush green. The temperature is mild but very pleasant, and there are few tourists. One of the best trails that runs across the middle the island is called the Victoria Lines Trail which follows the line of fortifications that were set up across the island during the British colonial period. At many points along this trail you get wonderful views across almost the whole of the island with the Mediterranean Sea stretching to the horizon. #getgoing2025 #mountainhike #malta #mediterranean
