Queenstown, New Zealand's romantic city created by mountains and lakes

#July Travel Support Fund Queenstown was the most beautiful and charming city in the South Island. The Southern Alps surrounding the city and the emerald Lake Wakatipu blended together to create a beautiful landscape wherever you looked. Walking along the lakeside promenade and looking at the mountains and sky reflected on the water was healing in itself. Enjoying the scenery while drinking coffee at a small cafe around the lake was also a special moment. From the Skyline Observatory, which I took the gondola to, I could see the whole view of Queenstown, the lake, and the endless mountain ranges at a glance. The luge and bungee jumping from the top were thrilling activities that could only be experienced in Queenstown. If you want a more leisurely and quiet atmosphere, **Arrowtown** was good. This former gold mining town is really beautiful with yellow leaves in the fall, and the warm feeling of the small alleys and cafes was attractive. In the evening, we finished the day with New Zealand lamb steak and Pinot Noir wine at a lakeside restaurant.
