Long Son Pagoda (Vietnamese: Chùa Long Sơn) Long Son Pagoda is a must-see destination in Nha Trang. We walked here from the city center, climbed the legendary staircase with dragons (314 steps — yes, someone counted them 😅), and found ourselves at the foot of the enormous White Buddha. The views from there are stunning — the entire city lies before you, along with mountains, the sea, and rooftops. The Buddha itself is majestic, surrounded by smaller statues and bells. The atmosphere is peaceful, even with the crowds of tourists. However, an important point we realized on-site: not everyone is allowed inside the temple. If you're wearing shorts, tank tops, or have bare shoulders, you'll be politely but firmly stopped at the entrance. You'll either need to buy a cover-up right there (they're sold on-site) or simply explore the surrounding area. We were in light clothing but not too revealing — lucky us. So, wear something modest or bring a scarf/sarong with you. Overall, it's beautiful, serene, and a must-visit. Especially at sunset, when the heat subsides, and the lights come on.
