Okayama🇯🇵 | Lose track of time in one of Japan's three most famous gardens

#0yentravel Korakuen is a Japanese garden close to Okayama Station that you can drop in to. The grounds are spacious, and the scenery of open lawns, ponds, and seasonal flowers is relaxing and soothing. The black walls of Okayama Castle, visible through the garden, are also full of atmosphere, like a scene from a period drama. It was luxurious to spend time idly watching the carp, and it was the perfect place to relax during a trip. It's a famous spot in Okayama where there aren't too many people, and you can quietly feel the nature and history. There is also a teahouse inside, so we enjoyed some matcha tea 🍵 🎫Admission fee: 500 yen (adults)
