Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park is located in Higashimokoto, a town in eastern Hokkaido, and attracts many tourists every year. The pink and purple shibazakura flowers bloom from May to early June, with peak bloom around mid-May. In the vast park, there is a gentle hill covered with grass and cherry blossoms. The scenery from the foot of the hill and from the top is spectacular, making it a popular spot for taking photos. There are also many other things worth seeing in the park, such as the observation deck and the pink torii gate of the Mount Jinja Shrine. It takes about 1-2 hours to stroll around the park.
