Paris will always be a good idea ❤️

There’s a reason Paris remains one of the most beloved cities in the world—it’s timeless, effortlessly charming, and endlessly exciting. No matter how many times you visit, it always feels like the best idea. On my latest trip, I stayed near the Opera district, which proved to be the perfect home base. Centrally located, it allowed me to walk everywhere—and walk I did! Expect to hit at least 28,000 steps per day as you wander from grand boulevards to hidden alleyways. Paris is a city best explored on foot, where every turn reveals something beautiful: a cozy café, a stunning Haussmannian building, or a tiny patisserie with the most buttery croissants you’ve ever tasted. Two neighbourhoods that stole my heart (again) were Montmartre and Le Marais. Montmartre, with its winding cobblestone streets and artistic soul, feels like a village within the city. The view from Sacré-Cœur is worth every step up the hill. Meanwhile, Le Marais is effortlessly cool—a mix of historic architecture, trendy boutiques, and some of the best falafel (thank you, L’As du Fallafel). Wandering here means stumbling upon hidden courtyards, vintage shops, and lively squares where Parisians sip wine at all hours. And then there’s the food—always incredible. From flaky pain au chocolat in the morning to steak frites at a classic bistro, every meal feels like a celebration. Even a simple baguette with cheese from a fromagerie is perfection. Paris never disappoints. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, it’s always the right decision. The city’s magic lies in its ability to make even the most ordinary moments feel extraordinary. Paris will always be a good idea.
