The Xiyu Ammunition Depot includes a cave-style cool ammunition depot and a cave-style ammunition depot commonly known as a copper wall and iron fortress. It is a rare military building in the early Japanese colonial period and one of the four major ammunition depots of the Japanese army’s fortress on Penghu Island. As the name suggests, Xiyu Ammunition Depot is mainly used to store artillery ammunition. The cave ammunition depot adopts a double-wall dome structure. Then the inner warehouse space is built with reinforced concrete. In order to store smokeless gunpowder, in addition to constant temperature and humidity, the walls next to it are also covered with copper sheets to achieve the effect of completely isolating electromagnetic pulse waves and moisture. #Xiyudongtai Also known as Dongtai Ancient Castle and Xiyu East Fort, it is a Qing Dynasty military site located in Neiyan Village, Xiyu Township, Penghu County. It is currently a national monument of the Republic of China. #Big fruit leaf columnar basalt During the Japanese colonial period, a wharf was built on the beach of Daguoye to connect the sea traffic between Magong and Xiyu. When digging stones and soil, this magnificent columnar basalt buried in the soil for thousands of years was accidentally discovered. It can be said to be the most accessible columnar basalt on Penghu Island. #Erkan Shaved Ice Under the Old Tree Erkan Ancient House is a tourist attraction that almost everyone will visit when walking along the Beihuan Road. In addition to mooring fishing boats, the islands such as Gupoyu off the northern coast had an evil spirit to the south, which was directed to Houliao. The ancestors built this Dongping Wharf according to the order of Baosheng Dadi. The conical part of the cliff of the nearby Yandun Mountain near the coastline is shaped like a bow, and the shape of Dongping Wharf is like an arrow. The combination of the two is used to "break the evil spirit". It can be called the Paradise Road in Penghu. It winds like a sea snake all the way into the sea. It was originally an old abandoned pier, but now it has become the most mysterious secret attraction in Penghu. It retains a simple and primitive atmosphere. However, because the seawall is relatively curved, narrow and slippery, tourists who come here must be careful and walk slowly. Do not come when the weather is bad.
