Buddha's Light Reflections: Wat Phutthaisawan and Bangkok's Serene Moments

Day 1 In the early morning, I headed to Wat Phutthaisawan outside Bangkok. Along the way, the bustling cityscape gradually gave way to the tranquil countryside. Wat Phutthaisawan is situated by the Chao Phraya River, with its golden stupa gleaming under the sunlight. The most captivating feature inside the temple is the enormous and solemn Buddha statue, surrounded by murals depicting the teachings and mythological stories of the Buddha, immersing visitors in a religious atmosphere. In the afternoon, I took a short rest under the shade of trees outside the temple, feeling the gentle breeze, and then participated in the temple's blessing ceremony. The monks' chanting brought a sense of peace to my soul. Day 2 On the second day, I chose to explore Bangkok's old town to experience the local life and historical ambiance. In the early morning, I visited the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, admiring the grandeur and intricacy of Thai architecture. Then, I experienced local cuisine at a traditional riverside market. In the afternoon, I returned to the vicinity of Wat Phutthaisawan and took a boat tour along the Chao Phraya River, appreciating the temple's magnificence from a different perspective. At dusk, the sunset by the river and the golden spire of Wat Phutthaisawan reflected each other, seemingly putting a serene and beautiful end to my journey. During these two days, Wat Phutthaisawan, with its solemnity and tranquility, became a sanctuary for my soul, making me realize that Bangkok not only has its bustling side but also offers poetic and serene moments.
