Live out your princess dreams at secret cherry blossom palace in Prague

#aprilblooms Ditch the overdone, crowded Petřínské sady and take a walk in a beautiful palace with the locals. Trojský zámek, situated right across the Prague Zoo, is a baroque palace build in 17th century originally as a summer house for Sternberg family. Since then it hosted several art exhibitions during the year and it's beautiful gardens are open to public. With free entry. April is the best time for cherry blossom viewing. To rest after such long day, I reccommend to go southwest. There is newly opened café "Bistro Karel". They have cute outside and inside sitting. Try their "kobliha" (traditional czech donut with vanilla cream) it was delicious. Their freshly brewed specialty Cappuccino costs 75kč and is served in pretty artesanal cups. There are options for brunch as well. Or bring your own blanket, snacks and rest under the trees. How to get there: take the red metro to Nádraží Holešovice and then bus 112 to "Zoologická zahrada".
