Quanzhou is indeed a very suitable place to spend the winter and the New Year. The sun is out today and you can wear short sleeves directly. The temperature and humidity are very comfortable. The hotel lobby inherits Wanda's usual magnificent style, with a three-story column-free design and an eye-catching central chandelier. What's even better is that it is full of the flavor of the Chinese New Year. The hotel borrowed dozens of exquisitely crafted intangible cultural heritage lanterns from a museum and hung them high in various places in the lobby, which is very festive. It is said that since Christmas, the hotel boss has said that national-brand hotels do not put up Christmas trees, but instead make Chinese-style arrangements. Thumbs up for national-brand hotels! This time I stayed in an 80-square-meter luxury suite. It was booked by a third party, so my platinum card didn't give me an upgrade, but I still got executive treatment. Although it was renovated by an old cadre, it is still well maintained. There is a guest bathroom on the left hand side of the door, with a spacious washbasin, a non-smart toilet, a mobile phone shelf, Acapa hand soap and L'Occitane body lotion. On the right hand side is the mini bar with a capsule coffee machine with 3 capsules, original leaf tea and drip coffee, 4 bottles of free soft drinks in the small refrigerator, and Chinese tea sets and two packs of Anxi Tieguanyin on the coffee table. You can see the lake and river views outside the living room window, but because of the building facade, there are no large glass windows, and the right side is partially blocked by a newly built high-rise residential community. The three buildings of Wanda Center are already tall enough, but they are even taller, blocking the view of several Wanda buildings completely. There is a bedside stool, a sofa by the window and a dressing table in the bedroom. The room-keeping aunt also made a heart-shaped paper bunny with rose petals, which I took to take a bath. The interesting thing is that the aunt restored the disrupted shape when making the bed at night. This hotel has a turndown service, which is very meticulous and provides everything that is missing, which is better than many luxury brands. I was also given a Quanzhou hairpin flower refrigerator magnet as a nightcap gift, and peanut soup as a goodnight dessert. There is a spacious dressing room in front of the bedroom, and then the master bathroom. The bathtub is super comfortable, big and deep, equipped with a headrest and bath salts. The faucet is Hansgrohe's Axor, and the shower system is a relatively ordinary Grohe model with an average feel. The amenities by L'Occitane are better than those in ordinary rooms' Acapa. It's a pity that the smart toilet is not updated. The room service responds very quickly, requests are accurately executed, there are no problems with hygiene, and the room maintenance is much better than I expected.
