Scharfberg , Austria

Schafberg is a mountain in the Austrian state of Salzburg. Situated within the Salzkammergut Mountains range of the Northern Limestone Alps, the Schafberg rises 1,783m from the shore of Wolfgangsee Lake. To get to the top, you have to take an amazing steep cogwheel ride. There is a lovely restaurant at the top where you can sit down at the balcony for a meal or drinks and take in all the amazing breathtaking views of the gorgeous Austrian alps. There are no atm or credit card machines at Scharfberg so be sure to bring enough cash for the restaurant.
