Santiago de Compostela, the end of the pilgrimage

This ancient holy city, with everything in the city center reminiscent of the past, welcomes pilgrims and tourists alike. Of course, while this popular destination also boasts modern and commercial areas. The outer commercial district, about 10-20 minutes from the holy city, is a delightful place to visit and boasts delicious restaurants. It's like two worlds, modern and ancient. We spent a week exploring the holy city and two of the "ends of the world," Fisterra and Muxia. We stayed in both the ancient inner city and the modern outer areas.
