SARUNE Coffee & Eatery is a truly beautiful place and definitely highly recommended! 🌿☕✨ The combination of delicious food, quality coffee, fresh mountain air, and breathtaking views creates an unforgettable experience. The lavender garden and spectacular mountain scenery make this café especially photogenic, with plenty of beautiful spots for photos. The atmosphere is relaxing, stylish, and perfect for spending quality time with family or friends. Service is friendly and the overall experience is excellent. A must-visit destination in Karo—especially for anyone who loves nature, great views, and a beautiful café experience. Highly recommended!

Sarune Cafe was non-negotiable on our itinerary, a famous hotspot in Kabupaten Karo where lavender, views, and vibes collide. But, the real magic began on the way there. Flower beds spilled along the roadside like a living painting, colors everywhere, with Mount Sinabung standing tall in the distance which bold, calm, and impossible to ignore. The view wasn’t just pretty, it was breathtaking. The kind that makes you fall silent for a moment. We were so amazed that we pulled over without thinking. One small gerai, overflowing with flowers, standing proudly against the mighty backdrop of Sinabung. No plan. No rush. Just a moment that demanded to be felt. That stop wasn’t on the itinerary but it stole the entire day. Some views don’t just stay in photos. They stay with you. eh wait, Here’s the surprise: getting there was an adventure in itself. That was a story of its own. Most of the road wasn’t paved, turning our journey into a wild roller-coaster ride. Bumps, dips, and sways had us laughing, gripping the seats, and shouting every few seconds.
