Early spring in February, a three-day trip to Shanghai

Spring comes early in the south of the Yangtze River. Fly from Beijing, which is still a bit chilly, to Shanghai to experience a different early spring season. On the first day, it was already afternoon when we arrived in Shanghai. After renting a car at the airport, we went directly to the Bund that we had been longing for. On the left is a complex of international buildings of different styles, and on the right is the Oriental Pearl Tower and the landmark of Shanghai's modern construction - Lujiazui. The lights come on and night falls. The neon lights on both sides of the river reflect each other. There is a constant stream of ferries in the middle of the river. Shanghai has skillfully combined the richness of history with modern development. Strolling along the Bund to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, I saw a very stylish bar when passing Fuzhou Road. Turning the corner, I was immediately attracted by the huge door of POP MART and couldn't help but spend some more [Shy][Shy] The next morning, I drove to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town to experience the gentleness of the Jiangnan water town. The streets and alleys are crisscrossed with waterways. You can rent a black-sailed boat and cruise through the waterways of the ancient town, drifting leisurely under one small bridge after another until you reach the Fangsheng Bridge. Then we got off the boat and walked back along the river, visiting the shops one by one. It's a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Grandma's rice dumplings, sock-bottom pastry, green rice dumplings, braised pig's trotters... until night falls, the twinkling lights illuminate the ancient town, and the dimly lit ancient town presents a different scene in the water. Day 3, Yu Garden and City God Temple. Here you can truly experience the early arrival of spring in the south of the Yangtze River: a few camellia trees are blooming in the corner, the crystal clear wintersweets inadvertently send out a subtle fragrance, and the pink peach trees and graceful green bamboos are hidden among the uneven pavilions. Yu Garden is a one-way tour, entering from the north and exiting from the south, and after coming out you will arrive at the City God Temple Snack Street. You won’t be disappointed if you choose any of them.
