All composite things are impermanent! Where are the others? What is happiness?

One of two spring exhibitions at the Latitude Art Center. Compared to the bright, bold paintings of the American artist next door, which focus on women and life, this Chinese artist focuses more on religion and introspection. Although the colors are also very bright and cheerful, the lines are soft and the brushstrokes are delicate. The title of the exhibition comes from Susan Sontag's (US) 2003 book *Regarding the Pain of Others*. In "Regarding the Happiness of Others," "happiness" is no longer simply attributed to positive connotations, but rather an attempt is made to strip away its inherent emotional color and present it in a more plain semantic form. Observe, be an impartial observer.
