This is a place where you can't go wrong with any dish you order, making it highly recommendable for all travelers. Being inside a department store, it's easily accessible, and the interior is luxurious and clean, which I really appreciated. (Especially since the department store's restrooms were clean, which made me happy💕). On this day, we ordered the restaurant's signature dishes: Dongpo Pork, Garlic Shrimp with Vermicelli, Cucumber Salad, and Chili Fish. Although Dongpo Pork was sold out, the staff kindly offered to serve even just one piece, which we gladly accepted. The Dongpo Pork was so tender that it melted in the mouth, with a rich soy sauce flavor that left me wishing I could have had more. The Garlic Shrimp with Vermicelli featured plump shrimp and flavorful vermicelli, creating a perfect harmony of taste and texture. The Cucumber Salad was spicy, tangy, and crunchy, effectively balancing out the richness of the other dishes. The Chili Fish had a familiar chili sauce flavor, making it approachable and comforting. For me, it felt more like a side dish, and pairing it with rice made it even more satisfying. Overall, the taste, ambiance, and service were all excellent, making this a highly recommended restaurant for anyone on a free trip to Shanghai.
