Potatso National Park - Shudu Lake

Potatso National Park is located in the center of the 'Three Parallel Rivers' World Natural Heritage in Northwest Yunnan. It is composed of two parts: the Bitahai Nature Reserve, an internationally important wetland, and the Shudu Lake Scenic Area of the 'Three Parallel Rivers' World Natural Heritage Haba Section. The main components are Bitahai, Shudu Lake, and the subalpine pasture of Millytang. It is also one of the main attractions of Shangri-La tourism. The park's altitude ranges from 3500 meters to 4159 meters. It is a provincial nature reserve and an important part of the 'Three Parallel Rivers' scenic spot. Potatso National Park has geological landscapes, lakes and wetlands, forests and meadows, rare animals and plants, etc. The original ecological environment is well preserved. It is 22 kilometers away from Shangri-La city and covers an area of about 1313 square kilometers.
