3 Days in Paradise: Unveiling the Magic of Shangri-La, China

Day 1: Journey to Shangri-La The adventure began with an early arrival at Kunming Changshui International Airport, followed by a scenic train ride to Shangri-La. I explored the stunning Yila Grassland of Napa Lake and then headed to Meili Snow Mountain which is 2-hour drive away. After checking into Deqin Xuelong Hotel, the day ended with serene mountain vibes in a chilly weather. Day 2: Mountain Sunrises & National Parks An early start allowed me to catch the breathtaking sunrise at Meili Snow Mountain. After a hearty breakfast and hotel checkout, I visited Potato National Park and later checked into Shangri-La Wild Star Homestay. The day concluded with a tour of Songzanlin Monastery, Guishan Park and a delightful dinner at Dukezong Ancient City. Day 3: On the way to Li Jiang The day began with a visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest and most spectacular gorges in the world. Instead of hiking, I explored the scenic area, which offered incredible viewpoints to admire the roaring Jinsha River as it thundered through the narrow canyon. The visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge marked the perfect end to my Shangri-La journey, as I embarked on a magical trip to the enchanting town of Li Jiang, where history, culture, and breathtaking scenery awaited.
