Among the many exhibits at the Shimao museum the most striking are the stone carvings found at the royal city platform of the Shimao site, hailed as the museum's treasures. One of these is the "stone carving of deity's face," unearthed from the southern wall foundation of the main platform at the Shimao site. This stone carving measures 2.67 meters in length, 0.43 meters in height, and weighs over one ton. At its center is a deity's face, adorned with an eagle crown, and a triangular decoration on the forehead resembling an eagle's beak, with feathers above it, highlighting the spiritual beliefs and values of the Shimao ancestors.
