Exploring the Metasequoia in Honghua Ridge Park, Shenzhen

Metasequoia, as the name suggests, is so named because its leaves are arranged like feathers on small branches, and in winter, the leaves fall off along with the branches, hence the vivid name, Metasequoia. Winter comes late in Shenzhen, and it's not until January each year that you can see the fiery red Metasequoia. They usually grow by lakes or rivers, their drooping feathers dipping into the water, adding infinite romance. This touch of limited red can be seen in many parks in Shenzhen, whether it's Xianhu, Lianhua Mountain, Honghu in the city, or Longtan, Dashanbei, Honghua Ridge a little further from the city, you can appreciate her beautiful posture. This time I came to Honghua Ridge Park, where the Metasequoia has already shown her passion, a neat row of red by the lake.
