Shenzhen Songshan | Stay in a hidden aesthetic resort between red walls and blue sea

Visiting Songshan on the weekend, I was amazed by this mountain and sea scenery. From now on, my sea-view list has a new favorite. A distant view of the resort: A whole stretch of fiery red walls stands on the blue coastline, like a modern art museum landing amidst nature. Upon check-in, a fresh coconut is offered, and the staff are very friendly. Entering the room, you immediately see a 180° panoramic floor-to-ceiling window and a balcony facing the sea. In the morning, the gentle sound of waves wakes you up. Lying in bed, you can watch the tides rise and fall. The room design is a collision between fabric and nature, every detail perfectly matches my aesthetic. The restaurant’s three-level space is also worth experiencing. There is a reef bar, an indoor dining area, and an outdoor terrace. The designer has perfectly integrated the mountain and sea views into every corner. No matter where you sit to dine, you can look up to see the layered horizon. Especially at sunset, the glow dyes the entire sea, making dining an artistic enjoyment. Another wonderful weekend staycation.
