A Monastic Masterpiece

Sinaia Monastery dates from the late 1600s. The monastery is made up of two courtyards surrounded by low buildings in the centre of each courtyard there is a small byzantine church. The monastery houses the earliest Romanian translation of the Bible, dated 1668. Sinaia can easily be reached by train from Bucharest or Brasov, many come here to see Peles Castle but make sure you take the time to visit this historically significant monastery. #getgoing2025 #monastery #sinaia #sinaiamonastery
