Kesa House - Interesting solo staycation

Price per Person - $100 and above per room Rating - 3 Thanks to Trip.com offer, I managed to snag a standard room for sgd62 nett which is a great deal to try out Kesa House. Kesa House is a boutique hotel which is located in the trendy Keong Saik Road with lot of eateries around including the famous Keong Saik Bakery. Whilst the standard room is very compact, it is suitable for a solo staycation and has all one need for a comfortable stay. The only grip is you need to bring the two glass bottles to the common kitchen area to get filtered still or sparkling water (took me a while to figure out how to use the water filter system , luckily another guest offer her help to me). The bathroom is very small and unfortunately for some weird reason, the toilet roll in the bathroom was wet upon check in. A quick call to the front desk solved the issue and a fresh new roll in plastic was provided to my room shortly. There is some noise as well as smell pollution (ie. if someone bring in food from outside, the smell linger in the hallway and filter to the room) from the walkway.
