Singapore Travel Review: 4 Days 3 Nights in a Small City with a Big Heart ❤️🇸🇬

If you're hesitating about visiting Singapore, read this review first, and your heart will lead the way 🎒🌿 Hello everyone~ Today, I’m sharing a cute review of my recent trip to Singapore with my bestie 🧸✈️. It was a short 4-day, 3-night trip, but it was packed with smiles, unforgettable moments, and a camera memory that almost ran out because we took so many photos! 📸✨ We flew with a low-cost airline on an early morning flight, arriving in Singapore around 9 AM at Changi Airport. Just stepping off the plane was already a wow moment! The airport is absolutely stunning, with an indoor waterfall, shops, cafes, beautiful gardens, and everything is picture-perfect! ⸻ Day 1: JEWEL Changi – Bugis – Cafe District 💦🌸 After clearing immigration, we quickly headed to explore JEWEL Changi, which is right next to the airport. The highlight here is the “Rain Vortex,” the world’s tallest indoor waterfall cascading down the center of a massive glass dome. Wow~ Standing there felt like being in a fantasy movie 🧚♀️💧. After strolling around, taking photos, and checking in, we took the MRT into the city to Bugis, a popular area for tourists. We stayed at a hotel near the MRT station, making it super convenient to walk around, find food, and travel 🍜. In the evening, we wandered around Haji Lane, a small street filled with cafes, clothing shops, and vibrant graffiti walls. It’s perfect for hipsters and photo enthusiasts. We stopped by a cafe called “Selfie Coffee,” which serves lattes with your photo printed on the foam. Oh my~ It was so exciting that I couldn’t stop smiling ☕💗. We ended the day by taking the MRT back to the hotel to rest and prepare for the fun ahead! ⸻ Day 2: Universal Studios Singapore 🎡🎢 We woke up early today because we planned to visit the famous Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa Island! Using our EZ-Link card, we took the MRT and Monorail to the island effortlessly. The iconic spinning Universal globe greeted us, and we spent quite some time taking photos 🤭. Once inside, we headed straight to Transformers The Ride without hesitation. It felt like being inside the movie—so thrilling and fun! Next, we tried Revenge of the Mummy, which was absolutely scream-worthy at every turn 👻💀. For lunch, we had fast food in the Hollywood zone and then strolled around the different themed areas, including Far Far Away (with Shrek’s castle), Jurassic Park, and Ancient Egypt, which were all spectacular 🏰🦖. In the evening, we explored Sentosa Island a bit more before heading back to the city. We stopped by Marina Bay Sands to take photos with the Merlion, Singapore’s iconic statue, which was conveniently spraying water right at our camera. Haha 🦁💦. The atmosphere around Marina Bay in the evening was incredibly romantic, with soft sunlight reflecting on the water—every photo looked like a professional shoot. ⸻ Day 3: Gardens by the Bay – Cloud Forest – Marina 🌿🌈 We started the day beautifully, embracing nature at the famous Gardens by the Bay, which features stunning trees, flowers, and impressive displays 🍃. First, we entered the Cloud Forest, with its refreshing waterfall and winding walkways around towering trees. The atmosphere felt like being in the world of Avatar! We walked, took photos, and breathed in the cool, fresh air—it was indescribably rejuvenating 😌❄️. Next, we visited the Flower Dome, showcasing flowers from around the world in a beautifully arranged setting. It’s perfect for those who love sweet, vintage, and whimsical vibes 🌼🌷. In the evening, we stayed to watch the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show at the Supertree Grove. The trees lit up with twinkling lights synchronized to soft music, making us feel like we were floating in space 🎵✨. Before heading back, we revisited Marina Bay Sands for more photos. As a photographer, my camera memory was full twice 😂💾. ⸻ Day 4: Shop, Eat, Chill Before Flying Home 🧋🛍️ It was the last day~ We woke up feeling a bit sad but didn’t miss the chance to shop! We strolled along Orchard Road, Singapore’s most famous shopping street, featuring all kinds of brands—luxury, cute, local, and international 💄👗. We stopped by Don Don Donki and Watsons to grab snacks, perfumes, face masks, and souvenirs, filling our bags to the brim 🎁🍫. Then, we enjoyed a plate of Hainanese chicken rice before taking the MRT back to the airport. Before boarding, we revisited JEWEL Changi to shop a bit more and take a few more photos (it’s just too beautiful to resist). We bid farewell to Singapore with hearts full of joy 💌🌏. ⸻ Trip Summary 💬 • Singapore is a “small but complete” country—convenient, safe, clean, and charming. • The transportation system is excellent; no need for taxis. • It offers everything: nature, cafes, malls, and adorable character. • Every spot is photogenic; there’s no bad angle. • Locals are friendly and almost everyone speaks English.
