Interesting ancient town that is great for a leisurely stroll.

Huanglongxi Ancient Town is located in the southwest of Shuangliu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It was called Chishui in ancient times. During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of the Shu Han Dynasty, stationed troops here. With a long history of more than 2,000 years, the well-preserved residential buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and profound folk culture, Huanglongxi Ancient Town has the reputation of "one stream through the ages". I took a taxi and it stop at the big car park and the road leading into the scenic area is narrow. There are the Yellow Dragon Spit Water Pool and the Dragon Pillar at the entrance to the scenic area. There is also a waterway in the middle connecting the central block, which splits into two at the back and can be circled back to the river.S hops on both sides of the ancient street in the area, and teahouses or restaurants are located by the river which make it a ideal place to have a quick meal or snacks Will highly recommend this spot if you have couple of days in this beautiful city #sichuanattractions
