The island known to be ceylon, famous for their Tea plantations, attractive beaches and historical sites. There's much to see and explore in Sri lanka starting from visiting tea plantations to exploring dense jungles. The attractive part of my whole journey was visiting Elephant orphanage known as Pinnawala Elephant orphanage which you can find on the way to Kandy. Interestingly you can see whole bunch of elephants as they were in the wild, taken care by trained staff and water spray on the Elephants is what visitors and Elephants both enjoy. Many hotels and tour desks provide trips to Kandy that includes a stopover at this orphanage. otherwise just ask and they'll add for a small fee.
