Ratanapruk

Rainbow Cassia, also known as “Ratnaphruek”, is a hybrid tree between the Golden Shower Tree and the Chaiyaphruek. It is characterized by its large hanging flower clusters. The flowers start out as light pink mixed with cream, then gradually change to dark pink and bright yellow in the same cluster. The flowers bloom in the summer, especially from April to May. The tree is about 8–10 meters tall. The leaves are pinnate and paired. The flowers bloom at the same time as the new leaves. Since it is a hybrid, it does not bear pods and has no seeds. It is propagated by air layering or budding. It is suitable for planting as an ornamental plant in gardens or along roads, providing shade and beauty throughout the flowering season. #TravelEco
