It is recommended to rent a scooter or bicycle to get there. ⸻ 📝 Personal Experience Yuzihu is located in the northeastern corner of Green Island. Once a small fishing village, it is now uninhabited, preserving several traditional houses built with coral reef rocks, which exude a secluded and timeless atmosphere. This site is an important prehistoric location on Green Island. During the Japanese colonial period, scholars paid significant attention to it. Archaeologists have unearthed numerous prehistoric plain pottery shards, shell tools, stone tools, shell mounds, and burial sites here, suggesting close interactions between prehistoric inhabitants of this area and tribes from eastern Taiwan and the Hengchun Peninsula. It holds great significance in archaeological history. The surrounding area of Yuzihu boasts rich geological landscapes, including coral reef flats, white coral sand beaches, black conglomerate rocks, sea caves, and volcanic necks. Among them, Bow Cave is the largest sea cave on Green Island, shaped like a curved bow. The cave is cool and refreshing, making it an ideal spot for a summer retreat. Additionally, Emerald Lake, a natural pool formed by seawater erosion, and Blue Hole, where you can view crystal-clear blue waters, are both paradises for snorkeling enthusiasts.
