Senkoji temple

#traveldiaries Beautiful hillside temple with interesting statues, structures and great views of Onomichi harbor and town below. You can walk up in about 15 minutes or take the cable car up.I enjoyed the temple walk from Onomichi station more than Senkoji. But the temple is iconic built into the side of the mountain. Iconic temple bell. Amazing sakuras during bloom season. Suggest doing the temple walk finishing at Senkoji the walk back to Onomichi via the shopping arcade across the train tracks.
