Mose Lake in Tunchang is a less popular tourist spot in Hainan. It's not far from Haikou by car. Following the principle of short weekend trips, we set off after breakfast. Following the navigation, we first arrived at the abandoned maple deer farm. The lakeside was filled with dilapidated and deserted holiday houses. We re-navigated to the Nanxi Coffee Shop by the lake to find a suitable parking spot. Along the way, we saw many people hiking and cycling. The coffee shop just opened, with about dozens of visitors. We ordered a pistachio dirty and an ice cream. Hainan's winter this year is exceptionally warm. We basked in the sun while enjoying the beautiful lake view, watching the clouds roll and unfold in the sky, feeling very relaxed and comfortable. Living on the small island is very fulfilling. The new book arrived today, and I finished reading one in one go. I was deeply moved by the author's mention of deep play, deep rest, deep listening, deep reading, deep love, and deep work. Today's abundant information has created a scarcity of attention. Looking back, time is often cut into useless fragments. We are busy all day but lose the ability to live deeply and appreciate beauty. The present is the differential of life, and life is the integral of the present. In the new year, we should cherish time more and hope to make progress in the new year.
