Wat Sri Ubonrattanaram

Wat Sri Ubon Rattanaram, Ubon Ratchathani Province Formerly known as Wat Sri Thong, the ordination hall was built in the style of Wat Benchamabophit in Bangkok. It is home to the city’s most revered Buddha image, the Phra Kaew Busarakham, a Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude from the Chiang Saen period carved from sapphire glass. It is 3 inches wide at the lap and 5 inches high from the pedestal to the topknot.
