Wuyishan | Embark on a Mountain Getaway at Chongyang Creek Villa

Congyang Creek Villa is located in the heart of the Sangu Tourist Area in Wuyishan, just one kilometer from Wuyi Palace and a short walk from the Impression Dahongpao Theater. I recently stayed at this hotel for a night during my trip to Wuyishan in Nanping, and I was deeply impressed by the hotel's interpretation of local culture and its understanding of creating a holiday atmosphere. The hotel entrance, accessible by road, features a landscaped bamboo forest with flowing water and a designated camping area where guests can enjoy tea brewed over a stove. While savoring snacks, guests can roast oranges and sweet potatoes over a charcoal stove and use the hotel's premium tea leaves to create their own Dahongpao milk tea. Stepping into the lobby, a giraffe holds a chandelier in the hotel atrium. The hotel's black and white key cards also captured my attention with their thoughtful design. The hotel's public areas are elegantly decorated, featuring beautiful porcelain lamps and furniture adorned with exquisite paintings. As a tea-producing city, the hotel's tea room design is exceptional, with all tea sets custom-made to reflect the local culture. The hotel's conference area maintains a formal and impressive ambiance. The three buildings of the hotel surround a swimming pool area of over 2,000 square meters, a testament to the hotel's resort-style focus. I stayed in the Poolside Waterfront King Room, which features a landscape terrace with direct access to the pool via steps, as well as lounge chairs for relaxation. The bathroom is equipped with a smart toilet, a rain shower with excellent water pressure, and high-quality toiletries. The room includes six bottles of local water, and a welcome fruit platter, snacks, and a tea gift box are provided on the desk. The highlight of the room is the king-size bed, with adjustable mattress settings for the legs and back, offering various modes for personalized comfort. The mattress is incredibly soft, making it hard to leave the bed. The hotel has inherited the strengths of state-owned enterprises in terms of service and dining. The hotel staff were enthusiastic and patiently answered all my questions. The dining service was meticulous, and both breakfast and dinner were consistently excellent. With the hotel's gift of Xigua Dahongpao tea in hand, I continued my journey.
