I recently went to Xi'an's Chang'an District for work and chose to stay at Hanting Hotel (Xi'an Chang'an Northwest University Branch). I'm here to share my honest review. 📍[Location and Transportation] The hotel is located at No. 6 Shunxing Road, Chang'an District, Xi'an, which is a pretty good location. There are many schools nearby, such as Northwest University's Chang'an Campus, which is only 1.5 km away. If you want to go to a shopping mall, Sun Town and Vanke Plaza are within 3 km. 300 meters east of the entrance is the starting station of Bus 321, Hanlin North Road, with many bus lines, making it easy to get around. However, it is a bit far from the subway station, which is not so convenient for those who rely on the subway. 🏠[Room Condition] The rooms are simple and clean, and the area is spacious. The bedding is soft and comfortable to sleep on, and the pillow height is also suitable, allowing you to sleep well all night. The room has an adjustable eye-protecting desk lamp, which is convenient for reading and working. The bathroom has a dry and wet separation design, and the walls are made of waterproof and moisture-proof panels, which avoids the problem of tiles being prone to breeding bacteria and mold, which is very thoughtful. The disadvantage is that some rooms have small windows and the lighting is average. 🍱[Dining Experience] Breakfast is a Chinese and Western buffet, with a wide variety of options. There is freshly ground coffee, soy milk, milk, as well as fried eggs, fried rice, fried noodles, broccoli and other hot dishes, as well as fruit and pastries. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00, which can meet the dining times of different people. However, the breakfast tastes more like home cooking and has no special delicacies. 💁[Service Quality] You can feel the warm service from the front desk check-in. The staff is efficient and will also introduce the surrounding area in a thoughtful manner. During the stay, the room service responds promptly, and the cleaning lady is also very enthusiastic. Once I needed a few more towels, and they were delivered quickly after I called. 🅿️[Other Facilities] The hotel has free parking, which is very friendly to friends who drive themselves. There is also full wireless Internet coverage and a laundry room to meet daily needs. However, the hotel does not have a gym or entertainment facilities, which is a slight drawback. 💰[Value for Money] The room rate is around CNY 200–400. Combining its location, service and facilities, the value for money is still very high. It is especially suitable for friends who come here for business or to the surrounding schools. Overall, Hanting Hotel (Xi'an Chang'an Northwest University Branch) is a good choice, and I will consider staying there again next time I have the opportunity.
