Xiamen University, hailed as one of the most beautiful universities in China, captivates visitors with its unique natural scenery and cultural atmosphere. This visit to Xiamen University allowed me to deeply appreciate the charm of this century-old institution. Magnificent Campus Environment Upon entering Xiamen University, the first thing that catches the eye is the lush green campus environment, where the lake and mountains complement each other. The shimmering Furong Lake, the willows swaying by the lakeside, and the occasional white egrets create a picturesque scene. The Furong Tunnel by the lake is particularly unique, with its colorful graffiti showcasing the creativity and youthful spirit of the students. The Beauty of Culture and Architecture Xiamen University's distinctive architectural style, described as "wearing a suit and a bamboo hat," combines Chinese and Western cultural features, leaving a lasting impression. Buildings such as Yilian Building, Shangxian Field, and Jiannan Auditorium, with their red bricks and green tiles, exude elegance and solemnity, embodying the Nanyang style and reflecting the university's rich historical heritage. Walking through the campus feels like traveling through a corridor of time, experiencing the profound cultural accumulation of this institution. Unique Scenery by the Mountains and Sea Xiamen University enjoys a unique geographical location, backed by Wulao Peak and facing Nanputuo Temple and Baicheng Beach. Climbing the Lover's Valley Trail offers a panoramic view of the entire campus, with the distant sea and sky merging into one, providing a refreshing experience. At sunset, standing on Baicheng Beach, watching the golden sunlight cast over the sea, one can truly feel the poetic and romantic essence of Xiamen University.
