Yuntai Mountain Dogwood Peak, Phoenix Ridge (Glass Plank Road)

Take the scenic area bus to the entrance of Zhuyu Peak Trail (Yuntaishan ticket ￥120, scenic area bus ￥60, valid for three days). It takes about 20 minutes (10k) to drive through a series of winding road tunnels (called Diecai Caves). There is also a 180-degree turn in the tunnel, which is a bit exciting and tests the driver's skills. From the trail entrance, you walk up about 1,400 stone steps all the way to Xuan Di Palace, which is the top of Zhuyu Peak (1,297.6 meters above sea level). It was foggy in the morning and I was worried that there would be white walls at the top of the mountain. Fortunately, the sun came out after we reached the top of the mountain. Then we went down to Phoenix Ridge (about 2.8k). The glass plank road of Phoenix Ridge (paid ￥20) is built on the cliff. There are two sections of about 200 meters. It was a bit scary when I first stepped on it, but it was really exciting to walk on it and the scenery was pretty good. We continued to go down the gentle slope to the pick-up point at the entrance of Zhuyu Peak Trail (about 2.1k).
