Yanji Mao'er Mountain National Forest Park

Mao'er Mountain National Forest Park is located on Yanlong Road, Yanji City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province. It is a national key scenic spot and a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Mao'er Mountain, also known as Lion Mountain or Zhong Mountain, is the highest peak in Yanji City. The mountain is majestic, with strange rocks, towering ancient trees, and beautiful scenery. From the top of the mountain, you can overlook the city of Yanji and the surrounding mountains and rivers. It is an ideal place for spring outings and summer vacations. Mao'er Mountain National Forest Park is characterized by its mountain forest ecological environment, natural landscape, and local landscape, as well as the integration of mountains, water, forests, fields, and cities. It reflects the customs and traditions of the Korean ethnic group and integrates regional ecological core, suburban leisure, forest tourism, folk tourism, heritage tourism, vacation entertainment, and other functions. It is an important ecological source and tourism and leisure core area in Yanji, Chaoyangchuan, Longjing, and Tumen. At the entrance of the park stands a huge stone sculpture of a tiger, with the words "Tiger Roaring in Changbai" engraved on the base, highlighting the spirit of bravery and perseverance of the people of Yanbian. Climb the mountain along the wooden plank road on the north side of the park, and you can pass by the Mao'er Mountain Observatory of the Yanbian Seismic Station halfway up the mountain. After about 3 km, you will reach the top of the mountain, which is a natural viewing platform for the Burhatong River and the Hailan River.
